Debbi Summers - Office Coordinator

Debbi brings a rich and versatile background to our office, having worked in the dental field since 1983. She  has been with Dr. Boyd since 1999. Her family is very close knit and the pride and joy of  her life.  This is only further enhanced by her  very active involvement  with her two beautiful, talented and amazing granddaughters.   She is a gifted gardener,  loves to travel, and is well read and informed.  She has developed trusting and supportive relationships with patients in the practice over the years.   You will find her always polite, helpful, capable and ready to help you.

Annell "Nell" Pavageau, RDA - Patient Care Coordinator

Nell has been in the dental field since 1978.  She has been a business assistant since 2004 and will be happy to help you with any questions you may have.  Most of her years have been spent as an assistant in the clinical areas, which is a great asset at the front desk.  She is a Registered Dental Assistant and holds certifications in radiology, jurisprudence, nitrous oxide monitoring and infection control.  Nell is a "people person" who loves music, animals and painting.

Gloria J. Henderson, RDA - Registered Dental Assistant

Gloria began her career as a Registered Dental Assistant in 1980 and has worked with Dr. Boyd since 1995.  She was employed at the University of Texas Dental School in Houston for 12 years, where she helped teach dental students and worked with special needs patients.  She is certified in dental radiography, nitrous oxide monitoring, infection control, and jurisprudence.  She returns to Houston each year to help with the state board dental examinations. 

Gloria is Vice President of the Texas Dental Assistants Association for 2009-2010.  Gloria is the 2009-2010 President of the Dallas Dental Assistants Association, which is her second consecutive term as President.  She was awarded "Dental Assistant of the Year" 2009 - 2010 by the Dallas Dental Assistants Association.  She is also a delegate to the Texas Dental Assistants Association. Gloria is on the Board of Directors for 139th Annual Session of the Texas Dental Assistants Association for 2009, as well as on the Board of Directors of ATI.  Prior to this she was secretary of the Dallas Dental Assistants Association from 2004 through 2006. She was appointed Chairman of the Southwest Dental Conference Dallas Dental Assistants Association for 2007.  Gloria never met a stranger and will keep you relaxed and laughing during your dental visit.

Kimberly "Kim" Lee, RDA -   Registered Dental Assistant

Kim obtained her training as a Registered Dental Assistant at ATI in 1995, and performed an internship at Parkland Hospital, Oral Surgery Department.  She holds certifications in radiology and nitrous oxide monitoring.  She is a member of the Dallas Dental Assistant's Association. Her calm demeanor is an asset in the dental office.  Her hobby is music, and we consider her a walking popular music encyclopedia.

Sharlene Ann Ooten, RDH  -  Registered Dental Hygienist

Sharlene studied business administration at Los Angeles Valley College and received her associate's degree in dental hygiene in 1999 from Tarrant County College, Northeast Campus in Hurst, Texas.  She has worked with Dr. Boyd since 2005. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association and the Texas Dental Hygienists' Association.  Sharlene has been a delegate at the Texas Dental Hygienists' Association state conventions in 2001, 2008, and 2009.  She participates in the Dallas Dental Hygiene Society's Mentor Program to help students grow in their profession.  She is caring, thorough, gentle and will help you keep your teeth sparkling clean.

As a caring professional, Sharlene volunteers to apply fluoride twice a year to needy children, an event hosted at Mark Twain Elementary.  She also serves on several fundraising committees through the Dallas County Dental Hygienist Association.

Wendi R Ritch, RDH  -  Registered Dental Hygienist

Wendi graduated from Tyler Junior College in 1991 with an associate degree in dental hygiene. She has worked with Dr. Boyd since 2004.  Wendi is known for her loving compassion for animals. ??She is caring and gentle and will help you keep your teeth sparkling clean.

Barbara A. Hudson - Community Liaison

Barbara has worked with Dr. Boyd since 1988.  She began working in the dental field after taking early retirement as a marketing executive with AT&T.  She works with the local community in charitable ways.  As you will see, she is known for her sense of humor.
