Like everything else in life, if you want something to look good and last, you have to take care of it.  Smiles are no exception.  To keep a healthy, bright smile, regular care is an absolute necessity.  Just as you change the oil in your car every 3 thousand miles and just as you get regular hair cuts, you need to provide your mouth maintenance.

Without daily hygiene, plaque, calculus (tarter) and stains start to build up on the teeth, giving them a dark and dull appearance.  The toxins and acids in plaque destroy the tooth enamel, causing decay.  When deep decay or fractures occur, the tooth may die, causing pain and leaving it a dark color.

Healthy gums are also an important ingredient to an attractive smile.  When gums are healthy, they provide a flattering frame for your teeth.  Red, swollen, or bleeding gums, however, look unattractive.  They also can cause pain, bad breath, make the teeth look dark and dingy, and can even cause you to loose your teeth.

We recommend the following maintenance regime to help you keep your teeth and gums healthy.
