Thank you for selecting Dr. Boyd for your dental care. It is the intention of our staff to provide for your dental health needs as thoroughly and efficiently as possible. We hope you will gladly return for years, building a relationship of mutual trust and respect. Before we begin any dental service, an explanation of the recommended treatment and estimate of fees involved will be presented to you.  It is important for you to know that delaying dental treatment can result in additional treatment.  Estimated fees will be honored for a three-month period. Payment is expected at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.

We do not belong to any DMO plans where fees are discounted. Dr. Boyd would not be able to provide her high level of service under managed care limitations. We do accept most traditional/indemnity insurance.  Many PPO (Preferred Provider Organization) plans will allow the patient to see the dentist of their choice with slightly reduced benefits available.  We must have complete insurance information and a signature card on file in order to accept assignment.  Payment is expected at time of service for the estimated portion not covered by insurance. Should there be a discrepancy between the estimate and actual payment from the insurance company, we will refund or bill you as is applicable. We are happy to verify your insurance coverage prior to your appointment. Please contact our office so we can obtain a little information regarding your insurance coverage.  To find out more about dental insurance, go to Knowing Your Insurance Coverage Keeps Everyone Smiling.

Dr. Boyd is generally scheduled to see one person at a time to be able to give you more personalized dental care.  Your commitment to the reserved appointed time is very important and greatly appreciated. Being on time for your appointment will allow us to give all of our patient’s the best service and fullest attention. If it becomes necessary to change an appointment time, please call to reschedule. To avoid incurring a missed appointment fee please give us 24 hours notice for appointments of one hour or less in length; for appointments longer than one hour we require at least 72 hours notice.
